    Xmas Day

Oops... finanlly I finished  24 season3. Chase Edmands was quite a hero in my mind. Chloe O'Brian seemed to be a "tech monster" or somewhat freak at times, but I'm fond of her role in this season. As to our Super Jack, just wanna say, Kiefer's voice is Soooooooo damn cool. If u have seen "Phone Booth", I don't expect you to remember Colin Farrell's sh*t performance, but you can't miss that psycho's voice. Yes..that's Kiefer.  Also in "Taking Lives", Kefer's guest starring was still that cool although everybody may have focused on Angelina Jolie's HOT intimacy shots with Ethan Hawk. Just have a try of Kiefer's voice: http://www.kiefer-rocks.com. BTW, I think most of Kiefer's fans are fancied by his charming voice coz you can even find a special collection of Kiefer's sound clips on his personal website.

Aha, see Ethan Hawk here. Actually I just saw him in "Lord of War" last night, basic feel is that it's just another SOSO Cage film. 7.5 on IMDB which I guess is a bit overated. However, what amazed me was the narrations by Cage himself. Here are some quotes. ( Cage was "Yuri Orlov" in the movie)

Yuri Orlov: There are two types of tragedies in life. One is not getting what you want, the other is getting it.

Andre Baptiste Jr: Can you bring me the gun of Rambo?
Yuri Orlov: Part One, Two, or Three?

Yuri Orlov: They say, "Evil prevails when good men fail to act." What they ought to say is, "Evil prevails."

Yuri Orlov: After the Cold War, the AK-47 became Russia's biggest export. After that came vodka, caviar, and suicidal novelists.

Yuri Orlov: Back then, I didn't sell to Osama Bin Laden. Not because of moral reasons, but because he was always bouncing checks.

Yuri Orlov: Selling a gun for the first time is a lot like having sex for the first time. You're excited but you don't really know what the hell you're doing. And some way, one way or another, it's over too fast.

Yuri Orlov: You know who's going to inherit the world? Arms dealers. Because everyone else is too busy killing each other

Yuri Orlov: Luckily we live in a world where suspicion alone does not constitute a crime

Yuri Orlov: Some of the most successful relationships are based on lies and deceit. Since that's where they usually end up anyway, it's a logical place to start

Borneo Officer: We're with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacoo and Firearms.
Yuri Orlov: Let me guess... this isn't about the alcohol or tobacoo.

Ethan was also invited to LOW as Jack Valentine, a dog-ass cop. There were some sparkling episodes of Cage and him.

Munich, The Da Vince Code, X3, Memories of a Geisha....... I watched several trailers on apple website earlier this week.. Thanks to the bandwidth here in the dorm that I can watch 720P HD trailor without any delay. Excellent sound and image quality

Two movies I am quite eagerly expecting: Mel Gibson's "Apocalypto" and Michael Mann's "Miami Vice". First sight of this Michael Mann film trailor instantly made me recall last year's Collateral. Frankly, I do enjoy his style and so does my dad. Hehe, I'm not kidding anyway~~ Actully my dad just repeated "very good" several times after watching "Collateral" last winter. Certainly I know he was not talking about Tom Cruise or Jamie Foxx or the whole story, he must enjoy Machael's style as much as I do, if not more. Oh...BTW, there was only one shot of Gong Li in the trailor. I'm sure there will be something worthing waiting till it's on. I don't know if there's gonna be some interation between Colin Farrell or Jamie Foxx with her. Obviously if with the former guy, it'll be more fun.

Haha, at last this cool guy. Just wanna post this pic here to decorate my space. Anyway, this man is beyond description, at least to me. I saw "Captain Jack Sparrow" again in the trailor of "Pirates of the Carribean 2". In fact, first time I saw "Pirates of the Carribean", I was fancied by the charming Keira Knightly and those ugly skeletons, second time, I was totally engaged in Johnny's performance, which made that so called star Orlando Bloom so sh*t

I also found some intersting video clips on Johnny's personal personal website, one of which I am watching is his visit to Oprah Winfrey's talkshow. Quite a lot of funny stuff in it.

Johnny Depp was voted the sexiest man in the world.

Johnny Depp is always regarded as the most gifted actor of his generation.

However he said he had never thought of being an actor before, then "How could you be such a great actor  without even thinking about doing this job?" Operah asked.

"It was Cage. Nicholas Cage discovered me first."

** It seems inserting images directly into the log is not that easy all the time. Hence I have to go back to "pure text version". Maybe later I'll try to load these pics to my soton webspace. Hope that'll work. Damn, I'm totaly an idiot in making websites.......

    Nina Myers

I am still engaged in watching Season3. (Don't laugt at me, Omar..)

The sub-storylines are not so subtly twisted as the first season. I know it may be too early to judge with the mere progress of 14 episodes.

HOWEVER, the cute Nina Myers died in episode 11. She is the only charactor who never failed me since I  gotta know 24, but this time Jack seems quite determined.

The writers may be quite proud of this charctor, but the most important thing is that they picked the right actress. Hardly can I found anyone more fit than Sarah Clarke.

Nina can read anyone's eyes, which made her the top terrorist on this earth. We, however can read her from her eyes. Green eyes? Blue eyes? I have no idea. Yet it tells a lotttttttt.......

    Season 1

    Season 2

    Season 3

    Anybody already seen?!

The story of the first one really stunned me at the time although Inhozan personally told me "The Butterfly Effect" was far beyond it. I still clearly remember watching it at Giggs's place on a gloomy rainy night and just one week after, I went thought it again with most of the guys at Dorm 11.

This R1 Uncut Edition is still on my list.

Guess quite a few people may have already seen this one, yet DON'T tell me any plot related stuff. I'll wait for the disc coming to Soton.
